H&M every season comes out with a magazine. I consider myself fortunate when I walk into one that still has copies available. Today, I found and article in the fall issue that reinforces what a I mentioned on an earlier post about the growing influence bloggers have in the fashion world. Like I mentioned earlier challenges change from shoot to shoot. Spring and summer looks are great and are mainly composed of linen, silk and cotton. One has to have a sense of humor when the fabric of a particular garment doesn't like to cooperate. The steamer and iron became my allies and as you can see we kicked butt. The clothes looked crisp and ready for their close up. I joked with the models especially the one with the light blue metallic silk pants to not move between shoots. Here are Some of my pics from the the shoot.

Como he mencionado antes los desafíos cambian dependiendo en la sesion fotografica. La ropa de primavera y el verano son buenos y se componen principalmente de lino, la seda y el algodón. Uno tiene que tener sentido del humor, cuando la tela en una pieza de ropa no quiere cooperar. La maquina de vapor y la plancha se convirtieron en mis aliados y como pueden ver ganamos. La ropa se ve desarrugada y lista para fotografiarse. Yo bromie con los modelos que no podian moverse entre toma y toma, especialmente con el que tenia puesto los pantalones azul metálico de seda. After looking at the pics I took and the final product I appreciate the time the photographer's assistant take to get the lighting just right. They make it look so easy.

Keep Cool

Talking with friends inspires me. My friends are not fashion plates but they tend to be fashionably sensitive. I encourage them to explore their style and maybe add a little something new to their repertoire. These are some that have come up in conversation and some the summer season has inspired me to try out.

Hablar con amigos me inspira. Mis amigos no son fanaticos de moda pero tienden ser sensibles a la moda. En las conversaciones los invito a explorar su estilo y tal vez añadir algo a su repertorio. Estos son algunos que han surgido en la conversación y algunos la temporada de verano me ha inspirado a probar.

A bandana around your neck will make a statement as shown by Hermes this season and Adrian Brody in the film The Brothers Bloom ( The whole movie was visually stunning cosutmes and all). This particular idea could translate well into fall.

Places like H&M are great if you want to try out something new for a lesser price. The straw fedora was 8 dollars and I didn't even think twice when I saw the price. Earlier this year I bought a black one and absolutely loved it. I always admired guys that could pull it off and so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Lugares como H & M son ideales si deseas probar algo nuevo por un precio accesible. El sombrero de paja costo 8 dólares y no lo pense dos veces cuando vi el precio. A principios de este año me compre uno en negro y me encantó completamente. Siempre he admirado a los hombres que les funcionan este look, así que me aventure a intentarlo, y que bueno que me salio! T-mobile came out with an awesome commercial with a group of people doing some amazing break dancing. For some reason my mind went back (about 10 yrs, I think) to a Gap commercial I absolutely loved, Gap Khaki Swing. When I watched it I couldn't help but smile. Watch and remember.



T mobile salió con impresionante comercial con un grupo de personas haciendo break dance. Por alguna razón, me recorde (de hace 10 años, creo) un comercial de Gap, Gap Khaki Swing que me encantaba. Cada vez que lo vei no podia evitar sonreir. Ve y recuerda.
