Frenchies and the Upper East Side

On a perfect spring afternoon in NYC I met up with a couple of new friends, Louie and Oliver, for a stroll on the Upper East Side. We admired the tulips in the middle of Park Avenue then hung out on a stoop and had a grand ol' time.

Say hi, Louie!

Road Trip: New Orleans

I had seen pictures of New Orleans and they don't do it justice. It was like stepping to another country and time in history. My visit only lasted a few hours but I made the best of it by spending most of the time at the French Quarter. Jackson Square was one of the mandatory stops but I made sure to explore the surrounding streets and alleys. And of course, I could not forget to get a tasty beignet (or two) at Cafe Du Monde a couple of blocks from Jackson Square. Speaking of food I was left wanting to try more of all the delicious food New Orleans has to offer. I did get to try some jambalaya (how can you not!), andouille sausage and of course a po' boy. Needless to say, I will have to make my way back to NOLA for more than one reason.

My Spring Go-To's

My four legged friend Baci, joined me to show you one of our favorite go-to spring looks. For spring I wear pieces that can work no matter what mother nature has up her sleeve. You can't go wrong with a water resistant jacket, just in case it rains and the weather channel forgot to mention it. I also like to brighten things up with a light blue button down and blue sneakers. During the winter I tend to wear a lot of black, navy is my transitional color. And as a personal trick I like to wear chinos if it rains- they dry faster than denim. What are some of your spring go-to pieces?

Note- Baci is wearing something special too. His collar is from Cambridge Satchel Company x Peanuts collection. What can I say, even my canine friends are stylish.
