Fair Isle Look for NYFW

Whether you're planning what to wear apres-ski or going about town- I loved wearing this look for New York Fashion Week: Men's. The fairisle sweater is as classic as a tweed herringbone blazer and this one stays true to its roots and still has a cool urban feel. In addition to the sweater I also wore wool utility joggers. This is the first time I wear joggers and think this is as far as I can go for this trend.

Nothing says fall like a tweed herringbone blazer. The one I'm wearing is vintage and its seriously one of my fall/winter staples. I was able to find some herringbone blazer in a wide range of prices and labels like Billie Reid, Club Monaco and Tallia. A herringbone blazer is an investment piece, it's worth spending a little more than you usually would spend on clothes because it will last you for ever. As for a plaid shirt, the options I found are a bit more reasonably priced. That makes for a great high-low look. Para mi el otoño requiere una chaqueta de tweed. El que tengo puesto es de segunda mano y es algo que me pongo durante el otoño e invierno. Pude encontrar algunos ejemplos de chaquetas de tweed en una variedad de precios de marcas como Billie Reid, Club Monaco y Tallia. Este tipo de chaqueta es una inversion, vale la pena gastar uno poco mas porque te va dura para siempre. En cuanto a una camisa a cuadros, las opciones que he encontrado son un poco más razonable en precio. Although summer has not left us yet here is glimpse of some of the looks for Todd Snyder's fall/winter 2012 collection. The earthy color palette will make it easy to transition in to fall and add on to your existing wardrobe. My two favorite pieces are the cargo pants and the peacoat, what a great fit. Los colores marrón, crema, y verde oliva permiten una transición mas sutil al otoño y para añadir a tu guardarropa. Ten years from now they will still be relevant and that is what you want in your wardrobe. El look book de la marca coreana Rogatis muestra lo que es ser chic. No hay nada complicado con estos looks. En diez años todavía se verán relevante y en moda y esto es lo que uno quiere en su armario. Después de ver estos looks añadí corea en mi lista de países que tengo que visitar.

Tucked Tie

Yesterday at work I wanted to change it up a bit so I tried the tucked-tie look with a striped JCrew oxford and striped tie. Well, color me surprised when I received compliment after compliment throughout the day. Who knew that's all it took! So just roll up your selves and tuck in the tie and you'll have what would seem like a whole new look and people will take notice in a positive way.

Ayer en el trabajo quise cambiar las cosas un poco entonces metí la corbata dentro de mi camisa de rayas corbata de rayas de JCrew. Bueno, que les cuento, recibí a legos todo el día. Quien supo que eso esto todo lo que hay que hacer? Entonces, enrolla las mangas y mete la corbata dentro de tu camisa y tendrás un look nuevo y la gente se fijaran del cambio positivo.

Living in SoCal for about a year now, it's hard to not be influenced by your surroundings. The weather here is cool in the mornings and evening and warm during the day this look works all day long. The sunglasses were a no brainer for ten dollars they're an easy accessory and a must-have for the California sun. The short sleeve sweatshirt is a favorite of mine I found this other one that's really cool too, from Three Over One via ASOS. This one is from Lyle & Scott also via ASOS.

Viviendo en el sur de California por casi un ano, es dificil de no ser influenciado por mis alrededores. Aqui hace frio en las mañanas y durante el dia hace calor este look es perfecto para el dia entero. No tuve que pensarlo mucho, diez dólares es tremendo precio.
