The young Toronto based label 3-W-Y showcased their SS14 collection in NYC this week. The collection was all about the details taking street wear to a more refined level. Such sharp details included woven leather sleeves, making a 3/4 sleeve baseball shirt and rushing pant legs. The color palette consisted of grays, navy, white and black. I was able to speak to Alyssa Alikpala one of the designers and founders of 3-W-Y and she explained where the name of the company came from, "It's from that time in our youth where we were carefree and fearless." Taking that essence of fearlessness the ad campaign and models at the presentation were inspired by the movie Fight Club.
