British GQ features Downton Abbey

Earlier this year, guest blogger Alex B. wrote how the Edwardian period television show Downton Abbey influenced the F/W 2012 men's collections. She emailed me as soon as she spotted this editorial from the December issue of British GQ featuring the male cast of the show wearing looks from those same collections they probably helped inspire. This is how the Brits do spring. What do you think? My favorite is the look the one with the blazer, i really like the proportions. Louis wears clothes from COS, Carhartt, Reiss and others.

I can't say I've been excited about all the collaborations H&M has done in the past but this one has me counting down the days. Granted Marni is not as well know as the other collaborators such as Versace and Roberto Cavalli, after checking out the men's collection on GQ UK's website I have my eye on a few items. These are a few of my favorites.

No puedo decir que todas las colaboraciones que ha hecho H&M en el pasado me han interesado pero esta colección me tiene contando los días. Es verdad Marni no es tan conocida como otros colaboradores como Versace y Roberto Cavalli, pero después de ver la colección en el sitio web de GQ UK estoy pendiente de algunas de sus piezas. Estas son algunas de mis favoritas.

On a side note, Jo Levin who styled this is the only stylist I know and assisted without a smart phone of some kind and when I went to their offices in London she doesn't even have a computer at her desk.
