Ernest Alexander Spring/Summer 15
Although it still doesn't feel like spring will be here any time soon you can start getting ready now. Spring collections are now hitting stores and sites, so get excited! Ernest Alexander is one you should check out. Inspired by the 1960's Americas Cup the nautical theme is seen throughout the collection. Tailored blazers, pants and shorts are lightweight and perfect for warmer weather. I love the bright yellow jacket and bags along side the periwinkle and slate grays. Take a look here at a few of my favorite looks from the Spring/Summer 2015 look book.
Made In The U.S: Ernest Alexander
The month of July is almost coming to an end and with that also the Made In The U.S series on Adentro Style. It is with great pleasure that I highlight Ernest Alexander who has recently become a member of the CFDA! Since he started making bags 5 years ago in the NYC's Garment District he has expanded his repertoire and is making accessories and clothing for men. Featured here is one of his travel bags. With a great eye for detail the brown leather handles/shoulder pad and twill fabric go hand in hand to create the perfect overnight bag.
Made In The U.S. Of Fashion Designers Of America)!

Visiting Number:Lab
I recently finished reading Grace A Memoir by Grace Coddington, there she says "The first thing I do in the showroom when I go back to look at the collection is to turn whatever I'm looking at inside out. Designers like Peter Coppimg at Nina Ricci, Marco Zanini at Rochas, and particularly Marc Jacobs always think about the inside of the garment..." When I visited Number:Lab for their Market Day Event at the CFDA Incubator to view their Fall 2013 collection I immediately looked inside the garments and saw the amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail. At Number:Lab its all about the details like wicking fabrics and hybrid jersey/cool tech. Great design and modern fabrics is what you'll find at Number:Lab.
