Sneak Peek at Bonobos Spring 2015

At the Bonobos Spring '15 Presentation I got to see their take on what we'll want to wear next spring. You'll find All-American pieces like the denim jacket in a variety of shades. Florals, will also make an appearance in not-so-subtle patterns but in an ever-so-cool vibe. The collection is all about layering and using great natural fabrics. You'll be set to spend a chilly night at the Hampton's or Martha's Vineyard or for the hot days which are sure to come. Here are a few of the looks that caught my eye.

Spring and stripes are always going to go hand in hand.

Cord shorts, yep, you should try them out too.

If you don't already get yourself some white denim.

This cardigan is a great transitional piece.

This suit looks even better in person.

Mark McNairy's Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

One of the shows during fashion week I always make sure to attend is Mark McNairy. He has a specific voice that combines preppy, urban, and always a sense of humor. The Spring/Summer 2015 collection was no different. You'll find everything from double breasted blazers, short suits, camouflage on practically everything and even some tie-dye. Here are a few noteworthy looks.

What are your thoughts on this cow hide vest? I'm a fan of the varsity jacket elements.

Color block and polka dots and camo.

Cool shorts with a cotton double breasted blazer.

Short suits are here to stay. Be bold with this tie-dye pattern.

The Parke & Ronen Spring 2015 collection was named after Dickie Greenleaf the protagonist of the movie, The Talented Mr. Ripley. One of the characters in the movie describes him, "Dickie was probably having the time of his life over there. An income, a house, a boat. Why should he want to come home? Dickie's face was becoming clearer in his memory: he had a big smile, blondish hair with crisp waves in it, a happy-go-lucky face." Who wouldn't have a happy-go-lucky face with a wardrobe like this? The variety of looks in this collection provides all the right choices for an escape to the Italian Riviera.

I went back stage to get a closer look at the collection. It's all about the great patterns and details on the shirts, swimwear and shorts.

Carlos Campos Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

The spring 2015 collection presents Carlos Campos' tailoring with the addition of modern sportswear.  We had a moment to chat about his collection before the presentation got underway. His inspiration came from a Spanish "public space artist" called El Tono (The Tone). Campos applied the artist's technique of overlaying geometric shapes as seen on his shirting and throughout the collection. Also, he continued working with neoprene by bringing more intricate stitching and mesh layering details to the sweatshirts and shorts. I noticed the models were very diverse and asked him about his selection process. He said he looks for guys that compliment his clothes with their personality. Below are a few of my favorite looks with notes about the collection.

Relaxed Sophistication at the Milan Shows ft. Bottega Veneta and John Varvatos

From the runways in Milan the men's shows had brought a wide array of silhouettes. I'm glad to say that the vibe for Spring 2015 is a mix of relaxed sophistication. These are some looks that stood out to me as great representations of what we can look forward to from Bottega Veneta and John Varvatos' collections.

Bottega Veneta

"The collection was very much inspired by the body in movement. I wanted to convey a certain freedom, athleticism and ease," says Creative Director Tomas Maier.

Not completely convinced on the short suit trend? Just hike-up your pants.

“I wanted to take formal ideas inspired by evening pieces and approach them with a casual attitude for the day time, exploring a new idea of youthful and sexy elegance,” says John Varvatos.

A Perfect Blazer For Fall

I'm sporting a couple of new things in this picture one of them this great blazer from Jack Wills the other a beard- both essentials for this fall. The Belgrave blazer is my go-to to keep warm (even in 30 degree weather) paired with a cashmere sweater and scarf you are set and looking polished. I love the pink that shows when you pop the color…it's an unexpected surprise. With wool blazers you have options and I love that. You can wear them with jeans or with chinos you won't go wrong.

Te los puedes poner con vaqueros (jeans) o con pantalones de salir. Cualquiera que escojas te veras bien.

You Should Know Kai-Aakmann

For #SneakPeekWeek I've presented the spring/summer 2014 collections of various labels some of which you're already familiar with and others that you might've heard of. Now, I take this opportunity to introduce you to Korean brand Kai-Aakmann. They are new to the states so let's give them a warm welcome.

Kai-aakmann's S/S14 collection features workwear tailoring and relaxed fits. You'll find light weight denim shirts with contrast stitching (I'm a fan of that) and great details on the military inspired blazer. Color-blocking also makes it way to the collection making for cool color combinations that will let you experiment like browns and purples without going outside your comfort zone. Take a look!

ASOS Spring/Summer 2014

British online retailer ASOS doesn't have just one spring/summer collection that just filters through a couple of months. They have a bunch of little collections that have their own personality but go hand in hand with each other which are released throughout the season. One of the advantages of being an e-commerce is the ability to host a variety of designs. A common thread in all the mini-collections, how I like to call them, is color and pattern. You'll find saturated colors and bright colors and items with bold patterns- in other words you are bound to find something here you like.

Lots to look forward to: True Religion SS14 Collection

Whatever comes to mind when you hear True Religion but to the side and take a look at these picture featuring their Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Who knows you might find your new favorite v-neck tee and maybe even your favorite new pair of jeans. They're taking their signature horseshoe and making it a little more discreet and the contrast stitching you might have seen in the past will be in less items and thus giving us more great options. Below you'll see a few pictures from the presentation and some at the showroom. All in all, I'm very excited of what's to come in True Religion's Spring 14 collection and you should too!

Giles & Brother Spring/Summer 2014

I've mentioned Giles & Brother on Adentro Style recently and since I took a look at their Spring/Summer 14 collection I haven't been able to think of much else. Nothing in the collection is over stated just cool pieces that you'd like to wear again and again all year long. The men's collection is strong with the use of everyday objects such as a safety pin, nut & bolt and their signature railroad spike. You can find all these great designs in different metals like brass and sterling silver. Take a look and let me know which ones are your favorite.
