Must-Have Gift Guide

It's that time of the year, the most wonderful time of the year! One of my favorite things to do is getting thoughtful gifts for people I love and appreciate. Here are a few items I've found that help avoid one very serious problem, remembering their size. So, if the guy your shopping for tends to be more classic check out the Baume & Mercie Classima watch. If he likes to get creative then the Impossible Project camera is the way to go. For the fashionable guy in your life the Vince Camuto tote will be heaven sent. Practically every man needs to shave and Harry's Shave Set is one of the best out there (I use their blade, so I know). Must-Have Accessories for Fall 16

The weather has been all over the place but we are finally feeling the temperatures drop! That means it's time to get yourself some great accessories for the season. I've looked high and low and found some scarves, beanies, watches, sunglasses and even a backpack that will have you ready and stylish for whatever mother nature throws at you this season.

Get the combo deal. This scarf and beanie from the GAP is classic and easy to add on to your wardrobe. (Watch- Nixon)

It's true, you can unwrap a shirt or suit on christmas day but be unsure its going to fit right. Imagine how great it would be to get a shirt, suit, bracelet and even a pair of shoes made specifically for you. I'm Hooked on Giles & Brother

I've mentioned previously on the blog about great accessories to wear in the summer. One of my personal favorites that I wear all the time is the Giles & Brother hook with leather lashing. The fact that the leather band wraps around your wrist a couple of times is a plus. I like to look good but also I'm low maintenance so this is a great option. Visually it looks as if you're wearing more than one bracelet. If you're wearing a t-shirt, a long sleeve shirt or short sleeve shirt like pictured here you'll be adding a cool factor with no fuss. Who doesn't want that?

From personal experience summer in New York is extremely humid as well as in Miami so I've had to think of ways to amp up a simple t-shirt and jeans look. Made In The U.S: Ernest Alexander

The month of July is almost coming to an end and with that also the Made In The U.S series on Adentro Style. It is with great pleasure that I highlight Ernest Alexander who has recently become a member of the CFDA! Since he started making bags 5 years ago in the NYC's Garment District he has expanded his repertoire and is making accessories and clothing for men. Featured here is one of his travel bags. With a great eye for detail the brown leather handles/shoulder pad and twill fabric go hand in hand to create the perfect overnight bag.

Made In The U.S: Leather Wallets

QP Collections is our  featured company for the third installment of the Made In The US series. I've mentioned their ties before but you have to know that they've started making wallets! These handmade wallets are made from genuine leather. The design is well thought out and includes all the essential pockets you'll need for your credit cards, cash and even business cards. I'm especially inclined to the floral print wallet- it's a great print to go with the rich leather.

Cool Shops: Fine And Dandy Shop

In the last couple of weeks I've gone to shops that are not as well known as some other stores but still deserve your attention. This month I'll dedicate some time in introducing you to some of these hidden gems.

The first shop in the series is called Fine And Dandy Shop. Located in Hell's Kitchen in NYC, Fine And Dandy Shop is a little oasis for the sartorially inclined. You mighty come here for the environment but most importantly for the beautifully handcrafted accessories by Matt and Enrique. Not only have they curated this beautiful space with vintage Ivy league images and collegiate paraphernalia you can also find them online to shop for all those amazing ties, handkerchiefs, pocket squares, and even spats for your shoes. Take a walk to the shop and say hello and pick up a few things that will add that extra something to your wardrobe.
