New York Men's Day Designer's Inspirations

New York Fashion Week is right around the corner. Invitations are being sent, models casted, clothes fitted, so many details in preparation for the big event! Before the clothes can walk down the runway it all starts with a sketch and an inspiration. The following are some of the designers that will be showing on New York Men's day, September 3rd. Just by these sketches I can see we have a lot to look forward to.

LUCIO CASTRO

"The forlorn nostalgia of Soviet summers in destinations like Odessa and Sopot is at the heart of  the SS15 collection"

CARLOS CAMPOS

"Inspired by the Spanish "Public Space Artist" El Tono (The Tone).  Carlos Campos applied the artist's techniques to his designs by overlaying geometric treatments over his classic pieces while maintaining the same attention to detail and tailoring with a sense of movement."

DAVID HART

"SS15 is inspired by Palm Springs and the idea of desert modernity - minimal lines and dusty colors."

GENTS

“Gents Spring ’15 collection was inspired by the athletic and masculine elements of the sport of boxing and the clean lines and colors of Formula One Racing.”

ORIGINAL PENGUIN

"For Spring 2015, Original Penguin takes inspiration from the energetic and glamorous Magic City itself: late 1950’s Miami. The color palette blends chromatic reds and vibrant greens with a splash of aqua and soft pinks, providing a contrast reminiscent of the saturated colors of beachfront homes set against the soft pastel colors of Miami’s art-deco streets."

Lots to look forward to: True Religion SS14 Collection

Whatever comes to mind when you hear True Religion but to the side and take a look at these picture featuring their Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Who knows you might find your new favorite v-neck tee and maybe even your favorite new pair of jeans. They're taking their signature horseshoe and making it a little more discreet and the contrast stitching you might have seen in the past will be in less items and thus giving us more great options. Below you'll see a few pictures from the presentation and some at the showroom. All in all, I'm very excited of what's to come in True Religion's Spring 14 collection and you should too!

Bonobos Spring/Summer 2014

During the spring and summer months we long for fall and winter. Now that the temperature is in the 40's on the east coast I'm sure some of you are longing for the summer to be back. During #SneakPeekWeek you'll see some pieces from a variety of labels that will help you look cool next season and give you something to look forward to all winter long.

On the first installment of #SneakPeekWeek on Adentro Style you'll get to see a few of my favorite pieces from Bonobos. Now, Bonobos used to be all about chinos and basics but they are expanding their selection and bringing you more great choices in menswear. During the fashion presentation held at the rooftop of Hotel Americano the models stood poolside and gave us a glimpse of whats to come. Take a moment and check out!

Sneak Peek: ASOS Fall 2013

One of the things that I've learned about the fashion industry is that it's always working on seasons ahead of the current season. Believe me, when I say that for me to talk about the ASOS fall 2013 in May is not as strange as you might think. I checked out their Fall Preview and was greeted by really great looks. ASOS's prices make it so everyone can look cool without breaking the bank. Expect to see this fall a variety of styles from classic cable knit sweaters, statement pieces like oversized buffalo check print polos, and edgy midnight blue smoking jackets. Una de las cosas que he aprendido de la industria de la moda es que siempre esta adelantada varias temporadas de la temperado actual. Creéme cuando te digo que al yo hablar de la colección de otoño de ASOS en pleno mes de Mayo no es tan extraño como piensas. Fui a ver la colección de otoño 2013 y vi muchas cosas que me gustaron. Los precios de ASOS permiten que todos puedan vestir en lo ultimo de la moda sin gastar mucho. Lo que veras este otoño será suéteres de punto de cable, polos de Buffalo check, y chaquetas azul marino con toques modernos. Sin importar la ocasión oh tu humor ASOS tendrá lo que estas buscando a un buen precio y siempre te veras bien.
