A Perfect Blazer For Fall

I'm sporting a couple of new things in this picture one of them this great blazer from Jack Wills the other a beard- both essentials for this fall. The Belgrave blazer is my go-to to keep warm (even in 30 degree weather) paired with a cashmere sweater and scarf you are set and looking polished. I love the pink that shows when you pop the color…it's an unexpected surprise. With wool blazers you have options and I love that. You can wear them with jeans or with chinos you won't go wrong.

En esta foto tengo dos cosas nuevas una de ellas es la chaqueta de Jack Wills la otra es una barba- dos cosas esenciales para el otoño. La chaqueta Belgrave de Jack Wills es lo primero que agarro cuando quiero ponerme una chaqueta. Aun en temporadas bajas la chaqueta me mantiene abrigado y con estilo. Me encanta el detalle de el color rosado en el cuello…totalmente inesperado. Con chaquetas de lana tienes opciones y eso me encanta. Te los puedes poner con vaqueros (jeans) o con pantalones de salir. Cualquiera que escojas te veras bien.

Your Fall Favorites via Frank & Oak

During New York Fashion Week Frank & Oak presented their Fall 2013 collection. I was fortunate enough to see some of the looks as they were being shot for the look book. Everything you love about fall clothes- cool plaids, rich hues and intricate cable knit sweaters can be found in this collection. Take a look at some of my favorites and you'll see what I mean.

A cool double breasted suit is always in style.

A pair of rich burgundy cords are a must.

Love this green suit.

Go ahead, be bold and get yourself a pair of plaid pants.

 I was told there are pants to go along with the vest and blazer. Great glen plaid!

Rugged New Look Of The True Religion FW 13 Ad Campaign

One of the best parts of any given september issue is flipping through all the ad campaigns, at least it is for me. This season one of my favorites is from True Religion. The campaign stars Karmen Pedaru and Gavin Jones in these rugged desert scenes. Inspired by the film "The Getaway" it resonates with the American imagery we all come to identify with from the west. I think the new creative direction of the ad is right on point.

A Short Intro to Kent & Curwen

The Library at SoHo House was the perfect setting for the Kent & Curwen fall 2013 preview and viewing of the Royal Charity Polo Cup. Only a few looks were presented and that's all it took to understand what this company is about. Kent & Curwen started in the early 1900's and has provided clothing to members of the British Royal family for years. They are very proud of their heritage and produce great attire for the modern gentleman. One of the best parts of viewing the collection in person is being able to touch the clothes. The fabrics are of the highest quality- some of the softest cashmere and supple leather out there. The good news is they'll become available stateside this fall. They'll first be available at Bloomingdale's and then open a stand alone store on Madison Ave.

Valentino: Fall To Spring Review

Men's Paris Fashion Week is well underway and I don't think I've been so excited by so many collections at any one time. The Valentino show is one of those that has pushed itself and shown another side of it's beautiful tailoring and overall design in a more modern feel. From the show a few trends will still be evident next spring such as camouflage prints on pants and tops. Also, color-blocking is staying strong as seen on the impeccable Valentino suits. There were also monochromatic looks as well as stiff leather jackets in the collection that brought on a more architectural aesthetic.

As the images from the collection were going viral I came across the Valentino ad campaign for Fall 2013 featuring Nicolas Ripoll. Photographer Craig McDean has done it again bringing us a beautiful series of images. From these it's evident there will be a seamless transition from the fall collection to the spring collection.

Paris Fashion Week de hombres ya ha empezado en europa y no recuerdo estar tan impresionado y animado por tantas colecciónes. El show de Valentino fue uno de estos que mostró una nueva variedad de diseños modernos y todavía manteniendo la integridad de la marca. En la colección se puede observar que algunas tendencias todavía van aparecer el año que viene. Por ejemplo, camuflaje se vera en pantalones y chaquetas. También color-blocking continuara fuerte en la colección como se pueden ver en los gabanes impecables. Había looks monocromáticos y chaquetas de cuero en cortes cuadrados.

En lo que los imágenes de la colección estaban viral en el internet encontré los imágenes de la campaña publicitaria del otoño 2013 con el modelo argentino Nicolas Ripoll. El fotografo Craig McDean como siempre nos ha dado una seria de bellos imágenes. Es evidente que la colección del otoño va tener una transición fluida a la colección de primavera.

One of the things that I've learned about the fashion industry is that it's always working on seasons ahead of the current season. Believe me, when I say that for me to talk about the ASOS fall 2013 in May is not as strange as you might think. I checked out their Fall Preview and was greeted by really great looks. ASOS's prices make it so everyone can look cool without breaking the bank. Expect to see this fall a variety of styles from classic cable knit sweaters, statement pieces like oversized buffalo check print polos, and edgy midnight blue smoking jackets. Una de las cosas que he aprendido de la industria de la moda es que siempre esta adelantada varias temporadas de la temperado actual. Creéme cuando te digo que al yo hablar de la colección de otoño de ASOS en pleno mes de Mayo no es tan extraño como piensas. Fui a ver la colección de otoño 2013 y vi muchas cosas que me gustaron. Los precios de ASOS permiten que todos puedan vestir en lo ultimo de la moda sin gastar mucho. Lo que veras este otoño será suéteres de punto de cable, polos de Buffalo check, y chaquetas azul marino con toques modernos. Sin importar la ocasión oh tu humor ASOS tendrá lo que estas buscando a un buen precio y siempre te veras bien.

Ricardo Seco presented his fall/winter 2013 collection "ALIVE" at the Eyebeam gallery during New York Fashion Week. He was inspired by the mix of cultures found in his neighborhood in Brooklyn, "I observed men who acknowledged and respected religion; who were in touch with music and art... I felt a deep respect for their culture." The hipster and Hasidic influences can be admired in each look by the relaxed and oversized silhouettes and dark color palette. photos property of Adentro Style.

Ricardo Seco mostró su colección de otoño/invierno 2013 llamada "ALIVE" en la galeria de Eyebeam durante New York Fashion Week. El fue inspirado por la mezcla de culturas presente en su vecindario en Brooklyn. "He observado a hombres que respetan la religion; que están pendientes a la musica y arte...Siento un gran respeto por su cultura." Uno puedo observar como la comunidad hipster y judio jasídico a influenciado cada look de la colección.
