Take It Easy- A Loungewear Story

From personal experience the colder it gets outside the more likely I am to stay indoors. While you're at home you might as well be as comfortable as possible and that's where loungewear comes in to play. Every guy is different and there are a slew of choices from robes, to lounge pants and muscle tees. You'll have even more loungewear options when matched with underwear. Check out some different options on how to take it easy at home with the help from Tani, Mack Weldon, MeUndies, Turbull & Asser and more.

Adding a Layer to Your Summer Outfit

Denim Shirt- GAP | T-Shirt MeUndies | Short- J.Crew | Watch- Daniel Wellington

We're in mid August and as much as I love the fall I don't want to let go of the comfort that is wearing shorts day in and day out. On a trip to the Miami Children's Museum where this picture was taken I wanted to step away from the norm but still wear my shorts so I put on a denim shirt over my t-shirt. I'm glad to say the denim shirt is here to stay and you can find them at places like GAP, True Religion and even Zegna. This American classic should be your go-to layering piece not only this summer but for every season.

Savor the Last Bit of Summer

T-shirt: MeUndies | Swim Trunks: T.Christopher | Slip-ons: (similar) | Sunglasses: Michael Bastian by Randolph Engineering

Summer is almost over so make sure to take time and head to the beach or pool before it's to late. On my last trip to Miami I made sure to go to the pool and try out my new swim trunks from T.Christopher. They're a more tailored fit than board shorts made them look and feel custom-made. I partnered them with a t-shirt, slip-ons and sunglasses I was set to go around town once I was done at the pool. My trip would definitely had not been the same with out that moment in the water. How will you savor the last bit of summer?

Made In The USA Denim: Jacob Davis

Denim- Jacob Davis | T-shirt- MeUndies | Bracelet- Musana

The final installment of Made In The USA features denim by Jacob Davis. I'm wearing the Rider Skinny jeans in raw selvedge and these jeans fit like a glove. I can't wait to break them in. Jacob Davis started about a year ago and is based out of California. There they make amazing denim like the one I'm wearing using great tailoring and fabrics which include American, Italian and Japanese selvage denims.  Creative Director, Jason Ferro said "Our goal is quiet simply to make the best blue jeans and tailored men's garments in the world."In addition to denim they also make shirts, blazers, hoodies and leather jackets- basically everything you might need. Want to learn who Jacob Davis is? Check out the video below for a quick introduction to this lesser known American icon.

Made In The USA: Chrome Bags

T-shirt- MeUndies (Made In The USA)

July makes me think of America and so I'm dedicating Mondays for the rest of the month to celebrating products made in the U.S.A. The first are the bags from Chrome Industries. Originally designed for bikers these bags are now designed with a variety of lifestyles in mind. The bag I'm wearing is custom made, what do you think? You too can go to one of their Hubs, like the one in Nolita in NYC. At the Hub you can look and touch all the fabric samples and make up your own combination of fabrics that will be used on each panel of the bag, you can even choose the buckle. Or just buy one already made. Check out their site, ChromeIndustries.com to see the full range of designs and materials they use to make these durable bags.

A closer look.
