Adding a Layer to Your Summer Outfit

We're in mid August and as much as I love the fall I don't want to let go of the comfort that is wearing shorts day in and day out. On a trip to the Miami Children's Museum where this picture was taken I wanted to step away from the norm but still wear my shorts so I put on a denim shirt over my t-shirt. I'm glad to say the denim shirt is here to stay and you can find them at places like GAP, True Religion and even Zegna. This American classic should be your go-to layering piece not only this summer but for every season.

Estamos a mediados de agosto y aunque me encanta el otoño no quiero dejar de sentirme cómodo vestido con mis pantalones cortos todos los días. En un paseo al Museo de Niños de Miami adonde se tomo esta foto quise cambiar el look de pantalones cortos y camiseta entonces me puse una camisa de jeans. Me alegro que ahora se puede encontrar camisetas de jeans en todas partes como en el GAP, True Religion y aun en Zegna. La camisa de jeans es clasico y podras usarlo el año entero.

The men's shows in Milan are well underway and these are two of the most interesting trends so far. The first set shows what I'd like to call silky-sheen. Zegna, Corneliani, Bottega Veneta and Gucci show the classic double breasted suit and two-button suit with an extra shine. The other trend was best named by Michael Hainey GQ Deputy Editor, he called it on his twitter feed @MichaelHaieny as, Skittles. So my question is will you "taste the rainbow?" (I couldn't help myself)

This editorial reminds me of another great story, Desert Nomad featuring Ben Hill, this one being a bit less nomad and more city slicker in the desert. Did I mention how these pictures totally inspire me to hit the open road, The West can do that to a man. Adam Senn wears earth toned pieces from the likes of Ralph Lauren, Prada, Myths, Tod's, Zegna, and others.

Este editorial me recuerda a otro editorial llamado, Desert Nomad con el modelo Ben Hill, este siendo menos nómada y menos urbanita en el desierto.  ¿He mencionado cómo estas imágenes totalmente me inspiran a ir e viaje, el oeste puede hacer eso a un hombre. Adam Senn tiene puesto ropa en tonos de marrones y crema, de marcas como Ralph Lauren, Prada, Myths, Tod's, Zegna y otros.

There are definitely a lot of different combinations that can be made with blazers and pants add some stripes or even a denim shirt with tie and you are ready for work...well, some places of work would be cool with that.
