Outfit of the Day: December

We are well into December and you don't have to think twice about walking around with just a denim jacket and hoodie. This is what I would typically wear to do my errands in the city. The cargo pants from Original Penguin fit like a glove and the extra pockets make it so practical for my keys and cell phone. My new Penfield hoodie is great for layering and so soft. As you know I've been addicted to my denim jacket for most of the year and I don't see that diminishing any time soon. Did I ever tell you how comfortable my Puma's are? Well, they are. Spend your day about town in style and comfort with these great pieces.

Great Design and Comfort: #RockportChallenge

I was asked to participate on the Rockport Challenge where an Adentro Style reader and I had to wear a pair of Rockport shoes from the Total Motion Collection. I chose their Chelsea boot the Total Motion Boot. This boot is so light-weight that it almost seems like your not wearing shoes. I walked around Brooklyn Bridge park to test them out and they were great. I felt like I could walk in them all day long. If I have a long day ahead with work and then an event these are my new go-to shoes.

The lucky reader to join me in the challenge was A. Rane. He works all day on his feet and commutes on his bike. He chose the Total Motion Wing Tips. Here he styled them with black denim and a t-shirt, keeping the more formal wing tips cool and relaxed. He's basically worn his new Rockport wing tips every day! On My Radar: Baldwin Denim

Attending Men's Capsule New York was such a great experience, I felt like a kid in a candy store. As I walked around the the sea of incredible menswear and accessories a few labels stood out to me especially Kansas City based Baldwin Denim. I was so pleased to meet the designer, Matt Baldwin at the booth and luckily, he had a moment to walk me through the Spring 14 collection. It's quite different to have a designer as opposed to a pr person (no offense) explain the thought process and even point out their favorite pieces in the collection. One of the things that stood out to me about Baldwin was the classic American design and very modern feel in each piece. Every guy will be able to find something they like at Baldwin. The color hues range from navy, black, gray, white and a muted green which lend themselves to be worn right in to fall too. Below are just a couple of my favorite pieces from the collection I saw at Capsule and looks from the look book.

Asistir al evento de Hombres de Capsule en Nueva York fue una gran experiencia, me sentí como un niño en una tienda de dulces. Spring is about transition and the denim jacket is great for that time of year. I looked around and my favorites are from ASOS and JCrew. As pictured here you can wear a denim jacket with jeans just make sure they're a darker wash. You can also wear the denim jacket with chinos, a button down shirt and tie, It'll have you looking very sharp. Remember, the denim jacket is a classic so you'll never have to get rid of it. 

La primavera es una temporada de transición y la chaqueta vaquera es ideal. Encontré mis dos favoritas en ASOS y JCrew.
